Grand Maghandlela’s brushwork brings to life the everyday movement of residents: neighbours gathering, children playing, women trading, and elders resting in the shade of corrugated iron homes.
Mandela Village is more than a name; it reflects a spirit of resilience and self-determination. These informal settlements carry the legacy of Nelson Mandela not only in title, but in the unity, resourcefulness, and community strength they embody.
