Title

Bursting with colour and life, Lions Head captures the iconic peak rising above Cape Town’s vibrant Bo-Kaap neighbourhood. Grand Maghandlela’s signature style brings each detail to life—from the candy-hued houses below to the dramatic slope of the mountain above. But this landmark isn’t just beloved for its beauty: in 1901, The Strand Magazine published a Sherlock Holmes story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in which the famous detective visits Cape Town—and the formidable silhouette of Lion’s Head would’ve been one of the first things to greet him.

Printed on Innova Décor Watercolour Art 245gsm fine art paper using archival pigment inks, each print is produced in the UK to museum-quality standards.

Every purchase directly supports Grand Maghadelda’s mission to fund an art school in South Africa, empowering the next generation of young artists.
